Properties and attributes of Functions :
Properties of functions: Functions come under sub-category of Relations. Functions are organized relations where proper order has to be maintained while linking one set to another set. There are different ways of linking one set to another set and the following are the examples!
Example: In a classroom, students and their shirt colors are divided into 2 sets.
Set A (Domain) Set B (Range)
Here, one or many students can wear the same color shirt. So this is a relation but NOT a function.

Vertical Line Test: If a vertical line touches a graph at more than one point, then the relation is NOT a function.
